#Dolby advanced audio v2 gui location driver
HOW can Istop windows from installing the microssoft sound driver so that i can install the CONEXANY DRIVER AND DOLBY INTERFACE DRIVER I think I prefer win 7 to this I am jsut in process now of doing all updates for win 7 adn installing all updated drivers from MEDION some say they are for win xp, vista 7 and 8 and some only upto 7 This is the best operating system I have used far better than vista or 8 Media centre edition 2005 and stil suing it now as i am tyoing to you
#Dolby advanced audio v2 gui location upgrade
This OS is as bad as Vista I had same probs with that when i\ bought my daughters 2 older laptops they are MEDION ALSO I was given the option to upgrade them to vista so i did only to find out it was a complete disaster and eventually went back to XP pro The slow restarts take forever and happen weterh i have installed, uninstalled or done nothing its jsut if i try to use the restart it is mega slow then eventually the power button LED starts flashing so I press it and then it loads I didnt install bullguard t=until i did the upgrade and then bullguard installs the correct files for the operating system When I first tried to uninstall i used the compatibilty wizard in the download that gives you a list of compatible and non compatible files it told me Kaspersky needed uninstalling and WI fi and bluetooth etc but said nothing about the DOLBY advanced audio It was a lot simpler with the start button is there a way to get this back also or not I also dont like windows 8 as it doesnt have the start button so finding things takes forever I jsut want to upgrade to 8 and still use most of the existing programs such as dolby advanced audio and will have to re install media centre again luckily i managed to get it installed and registered before the deadline I end up having to uninstall bluetooth and intel wifi also Kaspersky 2012 which i am not bothered as i have subscription to bullgueard which works with win 8

In the C /program files folders i have 32 bit version and x86 program files which i think is the 64 bit versions of files when i upgrade i need to keep the programs as re installing them all is a nightmare Or do you think its better to do clean install I AM GOING TO TRY TO RING THEM NOW WHICH WILL COST ME AGAINīEEN ONTO TECH LINE ABOUT WINDOWS BUT TO BE HONEST THEY WERE NOT MUCH HELP VIA TELEPHONE call backĬheers for reply I have installed and uninstalled it a numbver of times if it doesnt swork this time will be giving up as there are to many issues with win 8Ĭan I not chose to install and keep all files and programs etc Its takem me almost 3 months to get to this point and still not rightĮspecially the restarts after updates taking between 30 mins and over an hour once i have to do a restart after installing or uninstallign something I had to uninstall Wi FI and kaspersky 2012 trial edition which i didnt use anyway as i have subscription to bullguard MY MANUFACTUER WEBSITE SAYS THERE SHOULD BE NO ISSUES WITH INSTALLING IT HAD WIN 7 HOME PREMIUM INSTALLED BEFORE UPGRADE MEDION AYOYA E6621 MD 97988 INTEL I5 2.5GHZ QUAD PROCESSOR 4 GB RAM 500GB HDD Not sure which is correct a lot are using lenova driver tried that still fails I have tried uninstaling from add remove programs

I have tried using comapatibility mode but jsut keeps saying re install drivers when i try to use the dolby advanced audio APP or when o go to program files and try to manually install them Then it jsut re installs the microsoft one which is dated this year so newer than manufacturers driver The driver that now installed uses CONEXANT and a driver for the DOLBY ADVANCED AUDIO but when i try to un install the microsoft driver that its installed itself makes me restart which is taking ages another problem with restarts taking forever Only purchased in JAn to be honest with all the hassle i have had with win 8 beginning to wish i had waited and jsut bought one with it pre installed Before i upgraded to win * installed all uopdated drivers from manufacturer MEDION but some were updates for win 7 which it was before upgrading
